ABOUT
JUDO
Judo is a Japanese martial art created in 1882 by Jigoro Kano. Its most prominent feature is its competitive element, where the objective is to either throw or takedown an opponent to the ground, immobilize or otherwise subdue an opponent with a pin, or force an opponent to submit with a joint lock or a choke. In 1964, Judo became an official Olympic sport.
UNIVERSAL MARTIAL ARTS CENTER
Universal Martial Arts Center (UMAC) is a professional martial arts school where accredited instructors teach a wide variety of styles including: Judo, Boxing, MMA, TaeKwonDo, and Hapkido. At its inception, UMAC began as a weekend hobby of Sabunim Vincent Sinclair and five other instructors. Twenty years later, UMAC has successfully trained over 100 practicing martial artists and attained high ranking accolades including:
